Why us vs. selling on OLX

How do you calculate the quote for my Dell?
We look at the exact model and generation, current wholesale rate for that unit in Hafeez Center and Karachi Saddar, the condition grade from your photos, battery health, RAM/SSD spec, and whether accessories and warranty are included. The quote is a range because final grade is confirmed in physical inspection.
My Dell Latitude has a BIOS or admin password I can't remove — will you still buy it?
Yes. BIOS-locked Latitudes are common ex-corporate units. We still buy but deduct roughly Rs. 3,000-6,000 for the unlock service (Dell requires a service tag verification or a chip-level reset).
Do you buy Dells with cracked screens?
Yes. A cracked screen typically means Grade C pricing minus the cost of a replacement panel (Rs. 12,000-25,000 depending on model). We still make an offer — cracked-screen Latitudes still have strong parts value in the local market.
I don't have the original Dell charger — does that matter?
It's not a deal-breaker. A missing charger deducts Rs. 1,500-2,500 from the quote. A working third-party 65W/90W charger is treated as neutral rather than a deduction.
My laptop got wet or has motherboard issues — will you still take it?
Yes, but only at parts price. Water-affected or no-post laptops are quoted low (typically Rs. 5,000-15,000 depending on model) because we sell them for casing, screen, and keyboard salvage.
The warranty has expired — is that a problem?
Not for older Dells (Latitude 5490, Inspiron 3000/5000 etc.) — nobody expects warranty on those. For 2021-onwards units, remaining Dell ProSupport can add Rs. 4,000-8,000, but its absence doesn't disqualify the offer.
