Where do I find my exact laptop model?
Look at the label under the laptop. On Windows you can also open Command Prompt and type: wmic csproduct get name. On a MacBook, the A-number is printed in small text on the bottom cover.
Is the model name enough to match a part?
Often yes, but not always. One model can come with different screens, keyboards or batteries. A photo of the old part or its part number removes the doubt, so send it on WhatsApp before you pay.
What if my part is not listed?
