Laptop Battery Health Analyzer
Run powercfg /batteryreport in Windows Command Prompt as admin, open the generated HTML file, and copy the two numbers below. We'll tell you honestly whether the battery is worth keeping, what replacement costs in Pakistan, and whether to fix or replace the whole laptop.
How to get your battery report (Windows)
- Press Windows key, type
cmd, right-click Command Prompt → Run as administrator. - Type
powercfg /batteryreportand press Enter. - It says saved to C:\Users\YourName\battery-report.html. Open that file in any browser.
- Scroll to Installed batteries. Note Design Capacity (what it was when new) and Full Charge Capacity (what it holds now) — both in mWh.
- Paste both below.
macOS users: run system_profiler SPPowerDataType in Terminal — look for "Full Charge Capacity (mAh)" and "Design Capacity (mAh)". Same ratio.
