Laptop Guide for University of South Asia Students 2026

University of South Asia (USA), Lahore students usually buy a laptop in one of three budgets: Rs. 55,000 - 85,000, Rs. 95,000 - 140,000 or Rs. 150,000 - 250,000. Most degrees run fine on a mid-range laptop with an SSD. Walk in to Hafeez Center, Gulberg III, Lahore to see them in person.

The University of South Asia (USA) lists campuses at Lahore Cantt and Raiwind Road. Its official pages describe a four-year, eight-semester BS Computer Science programme of 124 to 140 credit hours, with Spring and Fall intakes, and list Software Engineering under its Faculty of Computer Science and IT. Wikipedia says the institution began in 1987 as the National College of Computer Sciences.

Because it began as a computer training college, computing is central here. Computing degrees add programming, databases, operating systems and software projects over the semesters. A laptop with RAM headroom and a fast SSD saves a lot of frustration.

Whether you study at the Cantt or Raiwind Road campus, you can visit our Hafeez Center shop to test models in person. Fees and programme lists change, so confirm them with the university.
