Laptop Guide for UET New Campus KSK Students 2026

UET Lahore New Campus students usually buy a laptop in one of three budgets: Rs. 55,000 - 85,000, Rs. 95,000 - 140,000 or Rs. 150,000 - 250,000. Engineering students need extra RAM for CAD, simulation and coding tools. Walk in to Hafeez Center, Gulberg III, Lahore to see them in person.

UET Lahore's New Campus is at Kala Shah Kaku (KSK), set up in 2006 as an extension of UET Lahore on about 313 acres. Wikipedia lists departments including Food Science and Technology, Energy Engineering, Management Studies, Biomedical Engineering and Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. A Fall 2025 admissions listing names Chemical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering as KSK offerings. The main UET Lahore campus has its own guide on our site.

Engineering students need CPU power and RAM. Mechanical students run CAD such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, and chemical engineers use simulation and data tools. Electrical students run MATLAB and circuit simulators. Biomedical and food science students use MATLAB, Excel and statistics tools. Programmes at this campus change, so confirm them with UET.

Many KSK students travel or live outside Lahore. A laptop that is reliable, easy to repair and fits a bag is more useful than a heavy one. We send nationwide by TCS and you can also visit our Hafeez Center shop.
