What this part does
Rubber feet are the small pads on the bottom of a laptop. They keep the base slightly above the table, so air can flow in through the vents. They also stop the laptop from sliding and hide some of the base screws.
Signs you need a new one
- One or more feet have fallen off or worn flat.
- The laptop rocks or slides on a table.
- The vents are partly blocked because the laptop sits too low.
- The base screws that were under the feet are exposed or missing.

- Count how many feet your laptop needs, and note their shape (round, strip or long bar).

Fitting: Easy
Clean the old glue off with a little alcohol, then press the foot on firmly for a minute. Heat in summer can soften the adhesive, so let it set before use. Check for any screw under the old foot.
