MBBS, Nursing, Pharmacy and Allied Health

Lecture slides, PDFs, e-books, question banks and video. Weight, battery life and a good screen matter more than CPU power.

Computer Science, Software Engineering and AI

VS Code, Python, Git, Docker and databases. 16GB RAM is the practical base; AI work benefits from a discrete GPU or Apple Silicon.

Cyber Security

Virtual machines and network labs. 16GB RAM lets you run several VMs at once.

Social Sciences and Humanities

Office, reading and presentations. Entry tier is enough.
