Medical students rarely need a powerful laptop. They need one that survives a long day: lecture halls, ward rounds and library hours. Light weight, a strong battery and a keyboard that does not tire your hands matter more than a fast processor.
KEMU is in central Lahore near Anarkali, so our Hafeez Center shop is a drive across the city. Visit, feel the weight, and test the battery before choosing.

Frequently asked by King Edward Medical University (KEMU), Lahore students
What matters most in a laptop for MBBS?
Battery life, weight and a comfortable keyboard. You mostly read PDFs and watch lectures. A used ThinkPad or EliteBook with healthy battery health is a better buy than a new low-end laptop with a weak battery.
Do I need 16GB RAM for medical school?
8GB is enough for most. Choose 16GB if you want many PDFs, video lectures and note apps open at once, or if you will do research. For the same price you may get a better screen instead; we can help you decide.
Is a 2-in-1 with a pen worth it?
Many students like it for annotating slides and diagrams. It costs more than a normal laptop and the hinge needs care. If you prefer a normal keyboard and write notes on paper, a regular laptop is the better value.
Can I check the battery before buying?
Yes. Visit Shop 66A, 3rd Floor, Hafeez Center, Gulberg III, Lahore and we show the battery health on the exact unit. If you order remotely, WhatsApp 0314 4000131 and we send a screenshot of the battery report with the photos.
How do I pay, and is there a warranty?
Cash in the shop, or bank transfer, JazzCash or Easypaisa for remote orders. Each laptop has a 30-day check warranty.
Can I replace the battery later if it weakens?
For most ThinkPad and EliteBook models, yes. We stock many replacement batteries and can fit them in the workshop. Ask us for the price for your exact model.
